Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
R&D Senior Manager to lead and drive innovation in our
Electronics & Home Appliance division. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven expertise in
product development, and
team management experience. This role requires leadership in research and development, ensuring the timely execution of projects while maintaining product quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee the R&D team to drive innovation and new product development in home appliances and electronic products.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement R&D strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
- Supervise the entire product development lifecycle, from concept design, prototyping, testing, and production.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure successful product launches.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends, materials, and market needs to enhance product innovation.
- Manage the R&D budget, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Solve complex technical challenges, drive process improvements, and ensure the efficient use of R&D resources.
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of R&D experience in the electronics or home appliance industry.
- Proven team management and leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of home appliances, consumer electronics, and emerging technologies.
- Experience in product design, prototyping, and mass production.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills in English and [Other Preferred Languages].
Preferred Skills:- Experience with IoT, AI, or smart home technologies.
- Familiarity with CAD, simulation software, and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
