Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Animation Production (Bangkok-based) Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the operations of our animation production company in Bangkok. The COO will oversee daily business operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure efficient production workflows to achieve company goals. This role requires strong leadership, industry expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality animated content.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency across all departments, including production, finance, HR, and business development.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve workflow, productivity, and profitability.
- Work closely with the CEO to align business objectives and drive growth in both domestic and international markets.
- Lead and optimize the animation production pipeline, ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, studios, distributors, and investors.
- Oversee budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability.
- Implement and improve operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work culture while driving performance and efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive developments to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Animation, Media Production, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in animation production, media, or entertainment industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of animation production workflows, digital pipelines, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale production operations, teams, and budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and market dynamics within the animation sector.
- Fluent in English; Thai proficiency is an advantage.
